Based on the results of the March visit of the management of JSC “KTZ” to China and practically implementing the Agreement on strategic cooperation for the development of container transportation, concluded between JSC “KTZ Express” and the Xi’an International Dry Port, a delegation from Xi’an Free Trade Port visited Aktau port.

During the meeting, the management of JSC “Sea port of Aktau” discussed with the Eastern colleagues the development of the TITR route and the possibility of their participation in the implementation of investment and infrastructure projects of the Kazakhstan seaport.

Following the results of the negotiations and familiarization of the guests with the port facilities, the parties spoke out “in favor of strengthening cooperation and comprehensive support for the development of multimodal, export-import and transit traffic”.

The city of Xi’an is the largest transport and logistics hub in China. On its territory is the “Xi’an International Trade and Logistics Park”. 40% of cargoes to this dry port come from Kazakhstan, and 30% of containers are formed here from the total volume of shipped container trains on the China-Europe route.
