Joint-Stock Company “National Company “Aktau International Sea Commercial Port” (hereinafter referred to as JSC “NC “AISCP”), within the framework of the project “Reconstruction of Berths No. 3 and No. 12 at the address: Mangistau region, Aktau, industrial zone No. 7, plot 43,” plans to procure goods, works, and services.

JSC “NC “AISCP” intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan and/or grant provided or administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to finance the aforementioned project.
Additional Information on Funding:
The project will be financed by an EBRD loan and an investment grant administered by the Bank. Furthermore, JSC “NC “AISCP” undertakes to cover all applicable taxes (including VAT).

Project Description:
The project aims to finance the acquisition of container handling equipment (such as cranes and reach stackers), as well as associated infrastructure. The project will allow JSC “NC “AISCP” to increase its container throughput capacity by creating a second technological line for handling heavy and containerized cargo, thereby eliminating several key infrastructure and operational bottlenecks along the Middle Corridor route.

The project involves the procurement of the following goods, works, and consultancy services:
- Contract 1: Design and Build contract for the reconstruction of berths No. 3 and No. 12 at the address: Republic of Kazakhstan, Mangistau region, Aktau, industrial zone No. 7, plot 43;
- Contract 2: Supply of goods and related services for the procurement and installation of cargo handling equipment and machinery;
- Contract 3: Consultancy services for construction supervision and project implementation support, including the provision of technical supervision services for the reconstruction of berths No. 3 and No. 12 in industrial zone No. 7, plot 43, Aktau, Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as project implementation support to ensure proper execution and full compliance with international standards and the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Contracts are subject to the EBRD Procurement Policies and Rules (as of May 15, 2022) and are open to participation by companies from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documentation.
