In the period from February 18 to February 22 of this year, the 17th meeting of the Intergovernmental Kazakh-Iranian Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation was held in Tehran.
As part of the Kazakh delegation headed by the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov, participation in the meeting was taken by the head of Aktau port Turikpenbaev A.N.
Focusing on the development of bilateral cooperation in almost all sectors of the economy and culture was a priority during the four-day event.
In particular, by a signed protocol between the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Customs Department of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the parties agreed on the conditions for the exchange of preliminary information on goods and vehicles.
And in the final minutes of the meeting, the parties indicated the need to create favorable conditions for further expansion of the range of goods between Iranian and Kazakh ports.
