Representatives of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and the Canadian infrastructure consulting company CPCS Transcom Limited, specializing in consulting services in the field of transport and energy, visited Port Aktau today.
CPCS Transcom Ltd conducts research to identify cross-border connectivity projects in Central Asia for further investment and consideration of implementation, including Kazakhstan, for a detailed assessment of their financial attractiveness.
One of the priority projects is the planned dredging that will be carried out in all major ports of Kazakhstan, including the port of Aktau, to mitigate the effects of the decline in the Caspian Sea level, and the role that development banks can play in promoting this work.
