The representatives of commercial and logistics structures of the leading oil companies of Kazakhstan – CNPC and KMG Kashagan B.V.

made an official visit to Sea port of Aktau, and got acquainted with the oil terminals located in the port. The oil terminals are able to transship at least 5 million tons of oil additionally to existing volumes.

As a result of the negotiations, the parties expressed confidence that upon completion of all corporate procedures,

the first batch of the Kazakh strategic raw materials will be put through the port of Aktau in October this year.

In general, after the reconstruction in the short term, oil loading capacity of Aktau port is expected to increase up to 12.5 million tons a year.
